I would ask you to consider a very useful word to substitute for your word "elite" as in "elite society." The useful word is "effete." It means someone or something no longer capable of effective action. Effete is also associated with men behaving like women and with people who behave in overly affected ways. The problem with using the word "elite" in the context of the demon worshipping baby torturing child raping cannibals is: they are not actually superior to anyone. Morally and culturally they are deficient in every meaningful way. As always with word choices, ymmv
