What is a non-linear reality?
As mobile organisms, this sentient interface our body has with its situation functions as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, so our experience of time is the present moving past to future. That is a linear model.
The physical reality is that activity and the resulting change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.
There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, t o inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.
That is a non-linear reality. It is like a tapestry being woven of strands constantly being pulled from what was woven.
Different clocks run at different rates simply because they are separate actions. Think metabolism.
Energy is conserved, because it manifests this presence, creating time, temperature, pressure, color and sound, as frequencies and amplitudes, rates and degrees.
As presence, the energy goes past to future, because the patterns generated coalesce and dissolve, future to past. Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall. no tiny strings necessary.
Consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past. Suggesting consciousness manifests as energy.
the digestive system processes the energy, feeding the flame, while the nervous system sorts the patterns, signals from the noise.
The signals are what resonates and synchronizes with prior knowledge, building on it, like rings of a tree, going back to earliest childhood memories.
This applies to cultures as well, with religions as the childhood memories, the grain of sand at the center of the pearl.
This is a centripetal dynamic, as structure becomes what coalesces in, while the noise, excess energy, radiates out.
Galaxies are energy radiating out, as structure coalesces in.
Galaxies are the scale at which these feedback loops are stable and don't blow up, go super nova. So it is wise to sustain a number of such conceptual tools in the toolbox and harmonize among them. Nodes in the networks. Otherwise you find yourself sucked down some rabbit hole or another.
