The leftists movement are all completely and totally demoralized, and rightly so. They are saddled with debt, cannot purchases homes, have no equity at all, and are looking for a way out. America has failed them.

You provided a cohesive summary for the accelerating convergence of the "its" (a term I own now, so thank you!) on culture and the financial system we exist in. I've intuited some of the parts but had trouble connecting the proverbial dots. I think the Fourth Turning will be an unstoppable tidal wave. Maybe more like a destructive Tsunami. The crest has not arrived, but I can feel the water rising quickly in front of it. For too long, I had too many of my own "its" living within a rigged system. I was either too stupid to notice, distracted, or selfish. Pride and self-interest were demanding masters

I've tried to maintain a rationalist approach to sorting through the "why?" of human behaviors. However, it’s been becoming a lot harder to keep believing in Hanlon, for me as well.

As a Christian, I long thought…who needs demons to influence their thoughts and behavior when humanity has plenty of their own already. I'm at a loss in trying to understand what drives the increasing number of people to think, say, and act out the worst of impulses without demonic influence. Having a rational conversation with many of them is near impossible. If “demonic” from the outside is added to the mix, then Hanlon’s simple and profound thesis may fall woefully short in explaining all human “malice”.
