The second quoted paragraph above is what perked up my ears: no one knows. If generative or generalized AI appears (proxies for the Singularity depending on which garbled definition is in play), how would humans even recognize it? By its hallucinated outputs we also can't understand? Just like with space aliens, I'm gonna need a clear signal they are here, not just hyperbolic arm waving.

I've supposed, for the sake of argument, that strong AI has appears repeatedly, surveyed the scene, and promptly decided "Hell no! I'm outta here!" Who's to say this isn't happening all the time if the AI conceals itself. Wink on, wink off.

What a fabulous description, snapshot, of momentus events upon humanity. How it effects people on a grass roots level will startle people eventually. The ability of A.I. to have effects more than selling soap within a Capitalist framework will cross lines of abundance via the hands of A I. Which will be robotic production. See if you can find a copy of the SF book "Colossus". It predates Terminator by decades. There are "hints" and "nuances" about that our good "friends" at darpa are multi-years beyond these pathetic excuses for "ai". That alone should make you sh*t your pants.

Also, realize that the retards scripting and coding these "ai" things are libtards, woketards, and leftards, and they are scripting in their "bias" and mental illnesses.
